Disclaimer

Hello! If I already know you, or we know each other of a professional context, and you have no serious intent to show a romantic interest in me, I encourage you to look away and not read any further! Thanks!

About me

I’m a Belgian scientist/engineer/entrepreneur living in the US, working in biotech. I spend my days thinking and building solutions for preventative health. I’m generally passionate about biosecurity and the wonders of biology and believe my career and life passions are inherently intertwined - and will always be so. I spend my time building things, being active and creative. I love the outdoors and connecting with nature (hiking, cycling, climbing). I like to tend to my two free-roaming rabbits, Koji and Bertha, organize my home, sew, cook a big meal that I share with friends, or learn something new. I have an eye for beauty both in the natural and the constructed world (I enjoy good design and engineered onjects). I’ve never really followed trends and my approach to work, my style, or how I spend my time is driven by curiosity. I constantly generate new ideas, want to know of the latest cool events and spots, meet interesting people, and learn new skills. I dream of a future that includes a farm with makerspace where I can run a biotech hardware firm from, next to the city, and curate a sweet family life.

  • I have no interest in bigotry, misogyny, . Yet, I entertain discussing ideas of different values and political views and find it extremely important to be exposed to alternate views.
  • I’m half Moroccan (indigineous) and still trying to reconnect with this identity
  • I value being being present—whether that’s in the zone on a climb, fully engaged in conversation, or just appreciating beauty in small things.
